I am the President and CEO of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. My work in communities began long ago and philanthropy became a passion. I saw early on in the South the enormous potential of giving to make a difference in our region and the world. Along the way, I was introduced to the power and fun of using a camera to see and express through a lens what was my own unique point of view. Blogging as a means to communicate more broadly seems both a timely and an interesting way to put these two passions together, to help tell and share the stories that make up portions of the journey doing the work I am fortunate to do. I hope you’ll join me along the way and enrich these images with your own experience and reflection, helping to better inform and picture philanthropy for all to see.
Leslie,
Would love to meet with you sometime. Can’t believe I have been at Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies for 20 years and we haven’t met. Call or e-mail me your availability in June?? Thanks Cathy
Dear Leslie,
Thank you for your blog and the new lens and focus you have brought to philanthropy in Florida. Knowing you as I have since the “analog” days of philanthropy, you are one person who has engaged philanthropy in the “digital”age, to benefit the community foundation movement.
I hope to see you at the Florida Philanthropic Network Summit in February.

Hello Freind!
So pleased to see this blog pop-up as I looked for your telephone number….
Your sensitivity to the world around you is illustrated so keenly via your professional work, love of community and your eye for the minute detail of life surrounding you……
Appalachia Ohio misses you!
Hi, Leslie,
I was reminded that 20 years ago today was the event that led to your association with SPS. Please know that I am thinking of y’all today.
If you are available to talk or email, I would like to chat briefly and ask you a question. Thanks, Gary White
